Yauatcha

Restaurant of the moment Yauatcha - from the man behind Hakkasan - has been doing the rounds of the reviews press with varying degrees of success. Though, one look at the flashy but funky clientele and you can tell they don't give a damn what anyone with a by-line thinks. They're perfectly happy with the slick decor, tasty dim sum and oriental-style French patisserie goods. We reckon you will be too, if you manage to get a booking; its current status is always rammed. There's been much fuss made about Yauatcha's decision to have 90-minute sittings in the restaurant; honestly we can't say it made any difference to our night here. Go forth and eat we say. It's damned good stuff.
