Gili Gulu

Yet another conveyor–belt sushi restaurant for the good folk of central London. Gili Gulu is certainly not the best example in town though it is possibly the cheapest. A set meal is £7.50 – choose five plates off the train and a bowl of miso soup – and not bad at all if you're on a budget. We were half expecting a Japanese karaoke singer to appear from the central spiral staircase – the focal point of the room – and choose one lucky punter to vault over their tempura and climb to the heavens. It would've at least added a bit of interest.
