Thatched House

One of those bizarre hotel-cum-pub-cum-restaurant places that tries to be all things to all people and nearly always fails. The Thatched House isn't a bad place; it's just that if you're looking for a proper boozer there are better options near by. If you're looking for a good restaurant there are less formal places nearby. If you're looking for a hotel, you're 110% in business. And if you want to eat some 'tapas' made by a man called Mustapha, all your Christmases just came at once. Worth a visit for spot-on Sunday roasts and really good service.
