A touch of class for Wanstead. This long–running restaurant offers a pine and flowers ambience for diners looking for a cut above. Try and grab a table outside on the patio and make sure you book –they're extremely popular. By day Hadley serves up sandwiches and snacks – till 4pm –, and by night classy mains of the venison and dover sole ilk. It's pricey, so look like you mean it, then tuck on in. Sunday roasts are truly fantastic.
