Enigma
Staff: early twenties, largely foreign. Clientele: late thirties, largely wealthy. So the real enigma is why play house music; especially the bland, vocal kind with 4/4 beats and wailing vocals. Still, it's pretty discreet, and more than made up for by rather slinky alfresco dining, swift service, and waiters who flourish napkins like matadors – mate, not being funny, it is only a napkin –. The small but perfectly formed menu, serves up Mediterranean food with style on fancy oversized plates –well worth checking out.
