If you've been struck by gastro-malaise – and you probably haven't cos we just invented it – then The Easton might just rekindle your love of robust flavours and hearty mains. Somehow they manage to dish up plates full of fresh, cleverly thought out ingredients, without turning all your mates into Gordon Ramsay-style food-fascists. The Easton is calm, funky, simple and totally effective. No herb-crusted, wind-blushed wankery allowed. And the roasts are superb.
