Royal Oak, The
This is the pub that the twins shot up in the film The Krays. It's now a bohemian boozer with levels of gayness rising during the week to a Thursday evening pop quiz climax. The Sunday flower market means an 8am licence so it's early pints all round for barrow boys, clubbers with stamina and wayward botanists. The result is a cross between Eastenders, an Ibizian recovery session and The Day of the Triffids to an Abba soundtrack. Priceless.
