Once through the pearly gates – read: orange door opposite Clerkenwell House – you'll find an artfully wasted crowd sipping vodka tonics in time to the DJs latest music fad. This is a top place to hire for a private party – for a mere £100 you can have the place to yourself, a late-licence and the kudos that comes with dragging your mates somewhere hip and discreet. Wed–Sat 6ish–late – depends on how busy/who's hired it – No food. Finding it tip: Exactly opposite Clerkenwell House, go through the entrance to Black Bull Yard, up the stairs and you'll find it through the doors on the first floor.
