Bed Bar

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen's wet dream. An absolute vision in ethnic – Bed is awash with dark wood, candles, drapery and odd ornaments. But hang on a minute – what's that smell? Initially I thought that someone was having a problem, but after more specialised sniffing, I realised it was incense. Umm, interesting aroma choice. It's not a bad place, the huge mattress seats are perfect for putting up market-weary feet and eyeing up the crowd, and the food's a pretty good attempt at authentic North African, but it's just not fun. Dull, dark, and so boringly done-before. Oh yeah, and it smells.
