Slug and Lettuce

There's no excuse for stooping to chain bar levels in London but Fulham's Slug & Lettuce still packs 'em in like they just opened and no one's seen a wooden floorboard before. If you're waiting outside the tube and dying for a pint we forgive you. And this is what you'll find: sixth formers drinking 'orange juice', Sophie Ellis Bextor on a loop, rugger boys and plenty of hearty guffawing. This place was called the King's Head back in 1680? Henry VIII probably had his stag night here, or one of the six anyway.
