The original gastropub and the prototype that spawned a thousand copies. This place is the reason why it's so hard to get a decent cheese sarnie and a basket of chips in London these days. It's swanky Mediterranean grub, fine wines, old leather sofas and draught beers all the way. Your Mum would love it. Book in advance to avoid the hordes from the Guardian newspaper just down the road.
