Pulteney Bridge

Bearing in mind that any guidebook on Bath will unquestionably dedicate a considerable chunk of its content to Pulteney Bridge, writing about it seems a little bit superfluous. Nevertheless, this is a guidebook, so here goes: Pulteney bridge is an unspoiled example of Georgian architecture at its finest. Being only one of a handful of bridges worldwide that supports shops across its whole length, it is both a rarity and an infrastructural spectacle. Although a fair few years have passed since it was erected, it never fails to impress tourists and locals alike. Even someone with little or no interest in historical constructions would probably call this bridge pretty remarkable. And breathe.
