We really don't mind a refurbishment here and there, as long as it doesn't make a place worse. Since the takeover a couple of years ago this natty little bar has been going from strength to strength. Before, a lot of people hated it. Now a lot of people like it. We would say we like it too. Good booze, good food, nice atmosphere and the odd music night, with nothing letting it down but the monumental climb up the hill to get here. Also, possibly the massive injuries you would sustain if you tripped on the way home. You have to take risks if you want the rewards though
