A notice on the door saying 'No Pushchairs' seems perhaps a little severe – until you walk inside, that is. If, for whatever reasons of your own, you were looking for the tiniest café in the history of the world, then you may well have found a serious contender in the Bridge Coffee Shop. Unless you're the only person in there, the tables are packed a tad too closely for you to be able to relax properly. Despite this, sitting above the river Avon while eating your jacket potato and having a nice cuppa is ample compensation for crossing your shoulders and tucking your elbows inside your ribs.
