Rising, phoenix-like from the ashes of scary biker-pub, Hatchetts, this place has quickly become boozer of choice for drinkers who are in-the-know. They have a vast selection of local ales which whiskery men in knitted jumpers will tell you are 'very well kept' (whatever that means). For everyone who doesn't spend their Sundays searching for the perfect pint of 'Old Toejam', there are lagers and ciders by the bucket load, as well as delicious pies to soak up some of that booze.
