Although we can't verify the rumours that this is the new hangout of Johnny Depp and his trendy chums, we can divulge that it's the chosen lair of a diverse yet harmonious range of locals – from the rather intimidating man covered in tattoos to, well, lots of student types. Upstairs you'll find a traditional pub frequented by said locals; downstairs, a cellar bar that often plays host to private parties and world music nights, and a friendly ghost who is said to pop up now and then to greet lonely barmaids...the sly dog.
