Hole in The Wall
This is one of Bath's most elegant eateries. The food is brilliant, with a menu that strikes a rare balance between gourmet and the recently popularised 'proper food' craze. We'd better warn you though – this isn't a place for those on a tight budget. Their name must relate to the cash point you won't be able to visit for a fortnight afterwards and might equally be replaced with 'Hole in Your Stomach Through Which The Kidney You Sold To Eat Here Was Removed'. Real nice though.

NO IT WASNT EXPENSIVE. Being a student in Bath i took my girlfriend to the hole in the wall. We had the set menu that was under a tenner with a free glass of wine [promotion]. the food was superb and we were really well looked after. i will definitely be back because they gave me a loyalty card.
