Baty's

Despite all outward appearances, this bar is really, really crap. It's basically your average chain bar trying to be everything to everyone and failing on all counts; not ironic enough to mix poncey décor and fruit machines in the way they do. A night time visit will have you wading through groups of la–di–dah fools with music at an annoyingly loud nightclub level. The staff range from downright stroppy to utterly indifferent, but the most annoying thing about Baty's is that no–one is exactly sure how to pronounce it.
