Dark Horse

This gay-friendly pub is situated behind the Royal Crescent at the top of town. Well worth the walk up the hill to get there, although you might not think so halfway up. It used to have a reputation as a smokers' pub, but that's all changed since its makeover and it now attracts a more health-conscious crowd.
