A more distinguished reviewer would harp on about the post-modern irony of a smooth, chic bar naming itself after a dowdy old local. A more funky writer might say something about it being more 'Sex and the City' than 'Have a Pint in Bath'. And it would take a much more pretentious pen-man to point out that this is an effective place to see and be seen. And Itchy? We quite liked the comfy sofas, but it was a bit pricey.
