Kids get free entry to more than 800 football league matches


The Coca Cola League’s Fans of the Future initiative is enabling youngsters to gain free entry to more than 800 Football League matches across England and Wales during the 2006/07 season.

Fans of the Future, which aims to attract young people to watch live football and start a lifelong passion for the game, launched during the 2005/6 season, with more than 200,000 children attending matches as a result. This season 61 of the 72 League clubs are running some form of activity, with 38 clubs running Kids Go Free schemes at all home matches - 874 free football matches in total.  

Other clubs offer 'Kids Go Free' at selected matches, ticket discounts, kid-a-quid matches, family tickets and free tickets for school groups.
