Robbing from the rich and giving to the poor is a bit old-fashioned for Itchy's tastes. Buying from the poor and making them richer is far more enjoyable, especially when you're buying beer.

This year Nottingham's renamed and relocated beer festival takes place in the Castle Grounds from Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th October. It will boast the usual fine selection of frothy fortitude (around 400 real ales will be available), and is priced at a very reasonable £3.50 for day tickets.

Lager from one of those enormous beverage conglomerates never feels as satisfying as a local pint of real ale, and this festival is a perfect opportunity to put some valuable coins in local brewers' pockets.
